4th Friday Chakradance Workshops

Chakradance is a dynamic wellness practice which uses music specifically created to resonate withing our chakras, helping to more easily open and move the energy within them. There are no set steps to this moving meditation- we are asked to let the music move our bodies allowing them to unwind and release anything no longer serving our highest good.

In  each approximately 60 minute class, we will  take some time to check in and learn a little about that months Chakra, then after a short warm up, we dance. This is a free form dance meaning each person can move their bodies in whatever way they choose- there is no wrong way to move! Afterwards we will create mandala art to help us keep the experience with us long after we have left the space.

Past participants have said that doing the dance is a little like going into a trance or a waking dream. It allows us to take ourselves outside of our normal realm of awareness and focus intently on our own bodies and the experience within them.
